Authentic Vintage NOS F50 Ford Lock Key and Bar Complete Set for Ford Gum Machine

GumballStuff acquired the assets from the iconic Ford Gum & Machine company and found some of these NEW OLD STOCK F-50 locks and keys! If you want an authentic route person's key along with a new lock that is shiny and turns smoothly, this listing is for you. The following NOS (vintage parts that were never used) parts are included: embossed Ford plug lock, lock tab, and F50 key. This type of lock was used on most Ford gumball machines including models with and without stands. 

This is an original F50 key from Ford Gum that opens most Ford gum machines. They are the heavy duty vintage keys that were used by Ford vendors on their routes and are extremely rare. Most Ford Distributors had thousands of machines but only need one key per route person. Due to scarcity, the authentic route operator keys are expensive. If you need to save money, we also offer the modern replicas but the quality of the two does not compare. Ford made their keys with a special hard alloy and then cut them with their proprietary machine to ensure distributors could easily unlock and service their routes. Replica keys are softer and are prone to bend or break.

We cannot guarantee this key will open any other locks and we do not offer returns.  If you buy this set and hope it opens other Ford machines, you do that at your own risk.  We recommend lubricating old locks before trying to unlock them.  To remove a broken lock from a ford machine and replace with this complete set, drill out the center of the old lock or cut the tab off the top of the locking bar and the lock will then slide out.
